Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead incubation labs for emerging tech prototypes (quantum, neurotech, synthetic biology)
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape mapping for emerging sectors
- Collaborate with C-suite to align tech strategy with business objectives
- Present innovation frameworks to investors and industry thought leaders
- Mentor R&D teams in agile adoption for rapid prototyping cycles
- Author thought leadership on tech ethics and regulatory implications
Qualifications
- MS/MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in tech strategy, R&D leadership, or venture innovation
- Proven track record scaling emerging technologies from concept to commercialization
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI governance, or biotech convergence
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management
- Portfolio demonstrating published research or patented innovations
- Exceptional stakeholder management across technical and executive domains
