- Lead cross-functional workshops to align technical feasibility with market opportunities
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite executives and board members
- Analyze competitive landscapes and regulatory impacts on future tech adoption
- Manage a $5M+ innovation budget for prototyping and early-stage initiatives
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership roles
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends (demonstrated via published reports)
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology impact assessment
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
- Executive communication abilities for complex technical concepts
- Master's degree in Technology Management, Engineering, or related field
