Responsibilities

- Conduct competitive analysis and scenario planning to anticipate industry shifts and regulatory impacts
- Present technology strategy to investors and board members securing $50M+ annual R&D budget
- Drive innovation sprints with MIT/Stanford partnerships to prototype next-gen solutions
- Develop KPI frameworks measuring technology adoption ROI and market disruption potential
- Mentor a 12-person innovation lab focused on solving 2026's grand challenges
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or emerging tech R&D
- Expertise in at least 3 emerging tech domains (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, quantum computing)
- Proven success launching products with $100M+ market impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with focus on future technologies
- Experience securing federal grants for forward-looking tech initiatives
- Deep understanding of ethical AI frameworks and responsible innovation principles
- Portfolio demonstrating technology forecasting accuracy (minimum 85% success rate)
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
