Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, neural interfaces) for strategic adoption
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype breakthrough solutions
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators for R&D collaboration
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to executive leadership
- Mentor junior strategists in future-tech methodologies and critical thinking
- Conduct competitive analysis in emerging tech domains
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record of launching disruptive tech products or services
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains (e.g., AI governance, quantum algorithms, bio-integrated systems)
- MSc/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in technology innovation or future studies
- Certification in emerging technology (e.g., Quantum Computing, Advanced AI)
