Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) through 2026
- Develop strategic roadmaps for next-gen product innovation
- Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, design, and business units
- Secure strategic partnerships with research institutions and startups
- Present findings to C-suite and external stakeholders
- Drive innovation sprints with rapid prototyping cycles
- Manage $2M+ annual R&D budget allocation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in emerging tech commercialization
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, or synthetic biology
- Strong financial modeling and budget management skills
- PhD or equivalent in technical field preferred
- Published research or patents in future technologies
- Experience with global innovation ecosystems
