Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, AI, neurotech, climate tech) and develop 3-5 year strategic roadmaps
- Partner with C-suite to align technology innovation with business objectives and market disruption
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' prototyping sessions with engineers, designers, and futurists
- Author thought leadership reports and speak at global tech conferences (CES, Web Summit, etc.)
- Manage $5M+ innovation portfolio with ROI-driven decision frameworks
- Mentor junior strategists and build external partnerships with research institutions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, innovation management, or futurism roles
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products/services (portfolio required)
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology, or climate tech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published author or keynote speaker on technology disruption topics
- Proficiency in strategic foresight methodologies (scenario planning, Delphi, etc.)
- Experience scaling tech teams in high-growth environments
