Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 3-year technology roadmaps for emerging sectors including quantum computing, bio-integrated systems, and sustainable AI
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and domain experts to prototype future-facing solutions
- Conduct market analysis and competitive intelligence to identify disruptive opportunities
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and global tech ecosystems
- Present visionary concepts to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Drive innovation through quarterly hackathons and R&D sprints
- Mentor junior talent in future-focused methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy with 3+ years in emerging tech domains
- Proven track record of launching at least two industry-disrupting products
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum algorithms, neuromorphic computing, or climate modeling
- Strong network connections with global research institutions
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or top-tier tech publications
- Experience securing $10M+ in R&D funding
- Proficiency in scenario planning and futures forecasting methodologies
