Responsibilities
- Design and execute technology roadmaps for 2026-2030, focusing on AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, researchers, and business strategists
- Identify emerging tech trends through patent analysis and academic partnerships
- Develop commercialization strategies for breakthrough technologies
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite executives and board members
- Secure $10M+ in R&D funding through grant applications and venture partnerships
- Mentor junior strategists in future-thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years at Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Proven track record of launching products generating $100M+ revenue
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Physics, or related field
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, AR/VR)
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals or major tech conferences
- Experience securing federal SBIR grants or DARPA partnerships
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., from Institute for the Future)
- Fluency in Mandarin or German for global collaboration
