Responsibilities
- Architect 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligning with market evolution and business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, Web3) for strategic integration
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Develop competitive intelligence frameworks tracking global tech disruption trends
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage innovation lab budget and vendor partnerships for emerging tech
- Mentor junior strategists in future-proofing methodologies
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Proven track record in launching at least 3 disruptive tech initiatives
- Expertise in emerging tech: quantum computing, generative AI, or decentralized systems
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Technology
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation (whitepapers, patents, or keynotes)
- Certification in emerging tech (e.g., AWS Quantum, Google AI Leadership)
- Experience with scenario planning and future-state modeling frameworks
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ implemented future-tech strategies
