Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution and societal trends
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, biotech convergence)
- Architect strategic partnerships with academia, startups, and industry disruptors
- Translate foresight into product requirements for next-gen platforms
- Present strategic vision to executive stakeholders and investor communities
- Mentor cross-functional teams on future tech implications
- Author thought leadership publications and industry whitepapers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, R&D leadership, or futurist roles
- Proven track record in emerging technology adoption cycles
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum systems, AGI frameworks, or synthetic biology
- MBA or advanced degree in Technology/Engineering preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating technology forecasting accuracy
- Experience with scenario planning and strategic war-gaming methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for complex technical storytelling
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism (IEEE, Nature, etc.)
