Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology roadmap, identifying disruptive trends in AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate next-gen solutions with $10M+ R&D budget oversight
- Develop strategic partnerships with research institutions and industry leaders to accelerate innovation
- Present technological vision to C-suite and board, securing executive buy-in and resource allocation
- Conduct horizon scanning to anticipate technological disruptions and competitive threats
- Mentor talent in emerging technologies, fostering a culture of continuous innovation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech leadership with proven experience in emerging technologies and product innovation
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains: quantum computing, AGI, neurotech, or synthetic biology
- Track record of securing $5M+ in R&D funding or venture capital for experimental projects
- Exceptional strategic planning skills with experience building 5+ year technology roadmaps
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech journals or conferences
- Experience leading distributed teams across global innovation hubs
