Responsibilities
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market projections and organizational goals
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum AI, neuromorphic computing, etc.) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional initiatives bridging R&D, product, and business strategy teams
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers to accelerate innovation
- Monitor global tech trends and competitive landscapes through proprietary intelligence systems
- Drive adoption of cutting-edge tools for scenario planning and technology forecasting
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/biotech preferred)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech specialization
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting methodologies and patent landscaping
- Exceptional executive communication skills with board-level presentation experience
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystems and research institutions
- Certification in technology strategy or innovation management (e.g., CDIO, CTO Academy)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful tech-to-market launches
