Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligning with global megatrends
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating emerging technologies (quantum, AI, synthetic biology)
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and global innovation hubs
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-7 year impact
- Present strategic insights to C-suite and board stakeholders with data-driven recommendations
- Manage $50M+ innovation portfolio with rigorous ROI analysis
- Mentor next-generation futurists and technologists
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Proven track record in scaling emerging technologies from concept to commercialization
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AGI ethics, biotech convergence, or neurotech
- Executive presence with ability to influence C-suite and external stakeholders
- Advanced degree in relevant field (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology journals
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
- Experience managing global R&D teams across multiple time zones
