Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (AI agents, decentralized systems, etc.)
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis for emerging technologies
- Present strategic briefings to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Manage $2M+ annual R&D budget for experimental initiatives
- Partner with academic institutions and startups for tech scouting
- Define KPIs for measuring technology adoption ROI
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ in emerging tech
- Proven track record of launching at least 2 disruptive tech products
- Expertise in at least 3 of: AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, or climate tech
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight (preferred)
- Experience securing $1M+ in innovation funding
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or conferences
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
