Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year technology roadmaps for emerging fields including quantum machine learning and bio-integrated systems

- Identify and evaluate disruptive startup partnerships and M&A opportunities
- Present strategic visions to C-suite executives and board members
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D budgets through compelling business cases
- Publish thought leadership in top-tier industry journals and conferences
- Mentor junior futurists and build internal innovation capabilities
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Physics, or related quantitative field
- 10+ years in strategic technology roles with Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Proven track record in launching commercialized AI or quantum products
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging technologies (neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology, Web3)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex systems
- Strong network connections with VC firms and academic research institutions
- Published author in IEEE/ACM journals or equivalent
- Experience with international regulatory frameworks for emerging tech
