Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and forecast their commercial impact by 2026
- Develop strategic blueprints for technology adoption and integration across business units
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and executive stakeholders
- Conduct competitive intelligence analysis in future-tech markets and identify first-mover advantages
- Present technology roadmaps and investment recommendations to C-suite leadership
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs for emerging technology scouting
- Mentor junior strategists and cultivate an organization-wide culture of technological foresight
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field; PhD preferred
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record developing multi-year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in at least three emerging technology domains (AI, quantum, blockchain, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Executive-level communication skills with experience presenting to boards and investors
- Certifications in innovation management (e.g., CDIO, CIMS) or technology forecasting
