Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and assess their commercial viability for 2026+ markets
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives
- Lead innovation workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and potential partnerships
- Conduct competitive intelligence analysis to anticipate industry shifts and threats
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives with data-driven insights
- Manage R&D initiatives for futuristic product prototypes and proof-of-concepts
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, startups, and research labs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; PhD preferred
- Minimum 8 years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of identifying and scaling emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, blockchain, IoT, AR/VR, or biotechnology
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical data
- Strong presentation skills for communicating futuristic concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and innovation budgets
- Portfolio of successfully implemented strategic technology initiatives
