Responsibilities
- Lead strategic planning for emerging technologies (2026+ horizon), identifying market opportunities and competitive threats
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives and innovation KPIs
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainable tech domains
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align technology strategy with corporate vision and investor expectations
- Represent the company at industry conferences, publishing white papers and establishing thought leadership
- Manage cross-functional innovation initiatives, from concept validation to pilot program execution
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of curiosity and experimentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic planning, technology consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in developing future-focused technology roadmaps with measurable outcomes
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, or biotech)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into strategic insights
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and innovation budgets over $5M
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation (white papers, patents, or keynotes)
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem and venture capital community
