Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology strategy aligned with business objectives and emerging trends
- Lead horizon scanning for disruptive technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and assess commercial viability
- Design and oversee innovation labs to prototype future-facing solutions
- Partner with R&D teams to translate strategic vision into actionable technical roadmaps
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Build and manage a global network of technology futurists and academic partnerships
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies across product lines and operational processes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching at least two market-disruptive technologies
- Deep expertise in emerging tech trends (AI/ML, blockchain, IoT, quantum computing)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical data
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets and cross-functional teams
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management capabilities
- Certifications in innovation management or technology foresight (e.g., CFTE, FTI) a plus
