Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum, synthetic biology, neuromorphic computing) and assess market viability
- Develop strategic roadmaps for technology integration across enterprise operations
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate next-gen solutions
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to C-suite executives
- Establish governance frameworks for ethical AI and responsible innovation
- Drive cross-functional initiatives between engineering, product, and business units
- Monitor competitive landscape and regulatory shifts impacting tech adoption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record of scaling emerging technologies from concept to market
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Experience with technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or future studies
