Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and technology forecasting for 2026+ landscape analysis
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align tech initiatives with business objectives
- Manage cross-functional innovation labs and prototype development cycles
- Present strategic recommendations to board members and key stakeholders
- Drive thought leadership through whitepapers, patents, and industry conference keynotes
- Oversee $5M+ R&D budget allocation for emerging tech incubation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or corporate innovation leadership
- Proven track record in emerging tech commercialization (AI/ML, Web3, AR/VR)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep understanding of global tech policy and regulatory landscapes
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making expertise
- Experience managing distributed R&D teams across 3+ continents
- Published research or patents in future technologies preferred
- Certification in Technology Strategy or Innovation Management (e.g., CTS, CEIM)
