Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with emerging trends (quantum computing, AGI, bio-integration)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and design teams
- Analyze market disruption vectors and competitive landscapes for 2026+ opportunities
- Secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Present technology visions to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused allocation
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in foresight/planning roles
- Proven track record launching products with 5+ year development cycles
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, neuromorphic)
- Executive presence with board-level presentation experience
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published thought leadership in technology journals (Nature, IEEE, etc.)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFM, APF)
- Fluency in Mandarin and/or Japanese for global stakeholder engagement
