Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with emerging trends in AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Analyze market gaps and competitive landscapes to identify disruptive opportunities
- Present strategic frameworks to C-suite executives and external investors
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Drive patent development for proprietary technologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven track record launching products using emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, or neurotech
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
- Published research in peer-reviewed technology journals
- Experience with agile innovation methodologies
