Responsibilities
- Lead strategic technology forecasting for 2026-2030, analyzing quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence
- Architect cross-functional innovation roadmaps aligning with long-term business objectives
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs for early-stage technology adoption
- Develop ROI models for emerging technologies with 5-10 year implementation horizons
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage a $5M+ innovation portfolio with quarterly strategic reviews
- Mentor cross-functional teams on future technology implications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech evaluation
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with focus on innovation
- Proven experience developing 5+ year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or synthetic biology
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech publications (e.g., MIT Tech Review, Nature)
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent foresight methodology training
- Experience managing R&D budgets exceeding $10M
- Exceptional data storytelling skills for complex technical concepts
