Responsibilities
- Architect multi-year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026+ industry shifts
- Identify and assess emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence)
- Lead scenario planning for technological disruptions and societal impacts
- Develop strategic partnerships with research institutions and innovation labs
- Present future technology visions to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Establish ethical frameworks for next-gen technology adoption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or emerging tech roles
- Proven track record in forecasting technology trends (e.g., Gartner Hype Cycle)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning and futures methodologies
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information
- Executive communication and stakeholder management excellence
- MSc/PhD in Technology, Engineering, or Futures Studies preferred
