Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum AI, biotech integration, climate-tech solutions)
- Lead cross-functional R&D sprints prototyping next-gen systems
- Analyze market trends and competitor tech stacks to identify disruptive opportunities
- Secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions and Fortune 500 innovators
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor junior researchers in futuristic technology adoption frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in tech strategy with proven impact at scale
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AI ethics, etc.)
- Portfolio demonstrating published research or commercialized innovations
- Experience securing $10M+ in R&D funding or partnerships
- Proficiency in technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
