Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing prototype solutions for emerging tech (quantum, AGI, bio-digital interfaces)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify breakthrough technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Translate technical capabilities into strategic business models and investment proposals
- Establish governance frameworks for ethical AI implementation and responsible innovation
- Present strategic visions to executive stakeholders and industry thought leadership forums
- Manage $15M innovation portfolio with ROI tracking and risk mitigation protocols
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy with 3+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Proven track record of launching at least two market-defining tech products
- Deep expertise in quantum computing, neural-symbolic AI, or climate tech
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Experience securing $10M+ in R&D funding from venture capital or corporate partners
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech publications (MIT Tech Review, etc.)
- Fluency in scenario planning methodologies and patent strategy development
