- Design strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government agencies
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Oversee prototyping of next-gen hardware/software solutions
- Author white papers on future tech policy implications
- Mentor junior researchers in innovation methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, blockchain, etc.)
- Published research in IEEE or Nature journals
- Proven track record of launching tech products with $50M+ revenue
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with technology foresight methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Strong background in sustainable technology development
- Exceptional communication skills for executive audiences
