Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology) for strategic integration
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech startups to accelerate R&D
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption and innovation ROI
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of continuous learning
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Proven track record in AI/ML, quantum computing, or biotech implementation
- Expertise in scenario planning and future trend analysis methodologies
- Strong background in product lifecycle management and go-to-market strategies
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
- Experience scaling tech initiatives in high-growth environments
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required
