Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and organizational goals
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry leaders
- Conduct scenario planning for emerging tech disruptions (2026-2030 horizon)
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $15M+ innovation portfolio with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Champion ethical tech adoption and responsible innovation frameworks
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in executive leadership
- Proven track record scaling tech ventures from concept to market
- Expertise in emerging tech: quantum computing, AGI, or neurotech
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or major tech forums
- Strong network with Silicon Valley VCs and academic institutions
- Certification in Technology Strategy or Innovation Management preferred
- Experience with federal grant applications (DARPA, NSF) a plus
