- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology strategy aligned with 2026 market forecasts and organizational goals
- Lead cross-functional initiatives in quantum computing, AI ethics, and decentralized systems
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies (neuromorphic chips, ambient IoT, etc.)
- Present strategic briefings to investors and board members on tech evolution trajectories
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and R labs for next-gen innovation
- Manage $2M+ annual tech innovation budget with ROI-driven allocation
- Mentor junior strategists in future-tech methodologies and trend analysis
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, product innovation, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in emerging tech adoption (blockchain, AR/VR, biotech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., WFS, CFTE) preferred
- Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks for AI/quantum deployment
- Published thought leadership on technological disruption (papers/whitepapers)
- Experience scaling tech solutions in regulated industries (healthcare/finance)
- Exceptional presentation skills for executive audiences
