Responsibilities
- Design and implement strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies including quantum computing, synthetic biology, and neuromorphic AI
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, data scientists, and futurists to prototype 2026+ solutions
- Analyze global tech trends and competitive landscapes to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop ethical frameworks for next-generation AI and automation systems
- Secure multi-million dollar innovation grants from federal and private institutions
- Present strategic visions to C-suite executives and industry consortiums
- Mentor junior strategists in future-proof methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of experience
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Deep expertise in futures forecasting methodologies (scenario planning, Delphi analysis)
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, IEEE) on disruptive tech
- Experience securing NSF/DARPA grants or equivalent venture funding
- Fluency in at least one quantum programming language (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Global network of tech innovators and academic collaborators
