Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, AR/VR)
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape evaluations for future tech domains
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $2M+ innovation budgets for R&D initiatives
- Partner with academic institutions to shape next-gen talent pipelines
- Author thought leadership publications on technological disruption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ in emerging tech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record scaling AI/quantum initiatives in enterprise environments
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight methodologies
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive experience
- Published research in IEEE or ACM journals preferred
