Responsibilities
- Anticipate and analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to develop 5-year strategic roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align technology strategy with business objectives
- Establish KPIs and frameworks for measuring impact of futuristic initiatives
- Present visionary concepts to stakeholders and secure executive buy-in
- Manage R&D budgets for experimental technologies and incubation projects
- Build and lead a specialized team of futurists and domain experts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of launching at least 3 industry-disrupting projects
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, AR/VR)
- Exceptional strategic planning and scenario modeling capabilities
- Strong executive presence with experience presenting to boards
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or major conferences
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Technology Innovation Management preferred
