Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology vision across AI, quantum computing, and IoT ecosystems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions with 18-24 month horizons
- Analyze emerging tech trends (neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology) for strategic integration
- Present technology roadmaps to investors and board members securing $50M+ R&D budgets
- Partner with academic institutions to establish innovation labs for future tech exploration
- Drive adoption of ethical AI frameworks and sustainable technology practices
- Mentor junior strategists in future-proofing methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Proven track record of launching products with 5+ year market impact
- Expertise in at least three of: AI ethics, quantum computing, blockchain, bioinformatics
- Experience securing $10M+ budgets for R&D initiatives
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism preferred
- Published thought leadership in IEEE, Nature, or similar journals
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools and horizon scanning methodologies
