Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, Web3) with 3-5 year impact assessments
- Develop and execute technology innovation roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Establish strategic partnerships with tech startups, research institutions, and industry leaders
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to executive leadership and investors
- Manage cross-functional innovation projects from concept to implementation
- Monitor global tech policy/regulatory shifts affecting 2026's business landscape
- Drive internal technology culture through thought leadership and innovation workshops
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in emerging tech adoption (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech focus
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making expertise
- Deep understanding of global tech trends and future-of-work implications
- Experience building innovation frameworks and managing R&D budgets >$5M
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem and academic circles
- Strategic communication skills for translating complex tech concepts to stakeholders
