Our Austin hub offers unparalleled resources for prototyping next-gen solutions, with direct access to emerging tech incubators and federal innovation grants. This position reports directly to the Chief Innovation Officer and collaborates with R&D partners at MIT, Stanford, and NASA.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology roadmaps for AI/ML, blockchain, and IoT integration
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-resistant security frameworks
- Identify emerging tech trends through patent analysis and academic partnerships
- Secure $5M+ in R&D grants for sustainable tech initiatives by 2026
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and board stakeholders quarterly
- Mentor junior strategists in future-proofing methodologies
- Establish KPIs for measuring 2026 technological readiness
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in emerging technologies
- Proven track record of scaling digital transformation initiatives
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certification in Quantum Computing (IBM/Qiskit) or equivalent
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks for AI/autonomous systems
- Published research in IEEE or ACM journals on future tech
- Experience with federal grant applications (SBIR/STTR)
- Fluency in Mandarin or German for global partnerships
