- Lead scenario planning for disruptive technological shifts impacting industry ecosystems
- Partner with R&D to align innovation pipelines with strategic 2026 objectives
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to C-suite stakeholders
- Manage external partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Quantify ROI for futuristic technologies and justify investment cases
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or emerging tech roles
- Proven track record forecasting tech trends 3-5 years ahead
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional data analysis and scenario modeling capabilities
- Experience presenting to executive audiences and influencing strategic decisions
- Certification in technology foresight or strategic planning preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 2020+ technology predictions
