Responsibilities
- Lead research and analysis of emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology) with 2026 commercialization potential
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligning with corporate objectives and market disruption forecasts
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and technology labs
- Present technology vision and implementation strategies to executive leadership and investors
- Assess ethical implications and regulatory frameworks for next-generation technologies
- Build and lead a cross-functional innovation task force
- Monitor global technology trends and competitive intelligence
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 10+ years of technology strategy experience
- Proven track record of forecasting and commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least three of these domains: AI ethics, quantum algorithms, bio-integrated systems, or neurotechnology
- Experience developing technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies or unicorns
- Exceptional analytical capabilities with data-driven decision-making framework
- Strong executive presence and experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Prior experience in scaling technology innovation from concept to market
