Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology strategy roadmap integrating quantum computing, AI governance, and decentralized systems
- Lead cross-functional sprints to prototype and validate emerging tech solutions (neuromorphic interfaces, synthetic biology frameworks)
- Establish ethical guardrails for autonomous systems and AI deployment in regulated industries
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic labs and government initiatives focused on climate-tech and space exploration
- Present technology forecasts and risk assessments to the board of directors and investors
- Mentor a team of futurists and technology architects in next-gen methodologies
- Monitor geopolitical tech policy shifts and adapt strategies accordingly
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with proven experience in emerging tech ecosystems
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, AI ethics, synthetic biology, space tech, or decentralized governance
- Published thought leadership in technology forecasting (e.g., IEEE Future Directions, MIT Tech Review)
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Track record of scaling technology initiatives from concept to $100M+ revenue impact
- Deep understanding of global SDGs and their intersection with technological advancement
- Security clearance eligibility for national innovation program partnerships
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python/R preferred) and system architecture modeling
