Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps by analyzing emerging trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and market disruption vectors
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype breakthrough solutions for future challenges
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-tech capabilities into 3-5 year product roadmaps
- Present strategic foresight to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Build and maintain a global network of technology futurists and academic researchers
- Quantify ROI of futuristic initiatives through market simulation and scenario planning
- Mentor R&D teams in adopting next-generation development methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching future-facing products (post-2020)
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (e.g., generative AI, spatial computing, synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with technology focus
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent foresight methodology training preferred
- Experience with scenario planning tools and market simulation platforms
- Strong executive presentation skills with ability to translate complex concepts
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation publications
