Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) for strategic integration
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption timelines
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype futuristic solutions
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Present strategic technology briefings to C-suite and board members
- Manage $2M+ innovation budget for experimental projects
- Build and lead a high-performance technology foresight team
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or innovation leadership
- Proven track record launching breakthrough products or services
- Expertise in at least two emerging technology domains
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism (patents, whitepapers, keynotes)
- Experience scaling teams from 5 to 50+ members
- Deep understanding of ethical tech frameworks and regulatory landscapes
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
