Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology adoption roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate emerging technologies (quantum, AR/VR, neuromorphic computing)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify breakthrough innovations with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investment committees
- Establish KPIs for technology maturity assessment and ROI modeling
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry labs
- Author thought leadership on future tech trends and their societal impact
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation management with proven 5-year planning success
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Executive-level communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Track record of launching tech initiatives with $10M+ budgets
- Certification in emerging technology (e.g., AWS Quantum, Google AI Leadership)
- Portfolio demonstrating strategic impact on future-focused initiatives
