Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligning with business objectives
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum, biotech, metaverse) for competitive advantage
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-generation solutions
- Establish governance frameworks for ethical AI and responsible innovation
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to board stakeholders
- Manage R&D budget allocation for 2026 technology initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, blockchain)
- Proven track record of scaling technology initiatives from concept to market
- Strong analytical skills with ability to model complex technological scenarios
- Experience with futures thinking methodologies and horizon scanning
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in technology innovation or strategic foresight
