Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026 markets
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for 3-5 year innovation horizons
- Partner with R&D teams to incubate and accelerate future-focused projects
- Present future trend insights to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Design and facilitate innovation workshops with cross-functional teams
- Establish KPIs for measuring innovation pipeline maturity and future-readiness
- Author thought leadership publications on industry evolution and disruption
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial success
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing, etc.)
- Exceptional data synthesis and scenario modeling capabilities
- Deep understanding of global socioeconomic megatrends
- Experience leading cross-functional innovation teams
- Published thought leader in future-focused publications
