Responsibilities
- Analyze global technology trends, patent landscapes, and socio-economic indicators to identify high-impact opportunities
- Develop scenario-based strategic models for 2026+ business environments
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into product roadmaps
- Author high-impact trend reports for executive decision-making
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify emerging startups for acquisition
- Design innovation frameworks for ethical technology deployment
- Represent the company at global futurism conferences and policy forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of predicting technology disruptions (portfolio required)
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methodology, and scenario planning
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies: AGI, synthetic biology, quantum computing
- Exceptional data visualization and narrative communication skills
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS) preferred
- Published work in peer-reviewed futures journals or major industry publications
