Responsibilities
- Architect 5-10 year strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 technological inflection points
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting industry evolution
- Develop scenario-based frameworks for market disruption and competitive adaptation
- Partner with R&D teams to translate foresight into prototype development and MVP validation
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and external partners through compelling narratives
- Establish cross-functional innovation labs with Fortune 500 partners
- Quantify future market opportunities through predictive modeling and trend analysis
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight or innovation consulting with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven expertise in emerging technology ecosystems (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (peer-reviewed journals)
- Mastery of scenario planning tools (STEEP analysis, Delphi method, cross-impact matrices)
- Experience scaling innovation frameworks from concept to enterprise-wide implementation
- Exceptional data storytelling capabilities with visualization tools (Tableau, D3.js)
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS)
