Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies, societal shifts, and disruptive forces impacting 2026+ markets
- Develop and implement innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives and market evolution
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to ideate future product/service concepts and business models
- Quantify strategic opportunities through scenario planning and risk-reward modeling
- Present compelling future-state visions to executive stakeholders and investment committees
- Build and maintain external ecosystem partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia
- Author thought leadership publications and white papers on innovation strategy
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futurology, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (Master's or PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years experience in innovation strategy, product development, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of translating future trends into actionable business strategies
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, Web3)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven trend forecasting
- Excellent presentation skills with ability to articulate complex future scenarios
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from foresight academy) highly desirable
