Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends, market shifts, and sociocultural drivers to forecast 2026+ industry landscapes
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligning product portfolios with future market opportunities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable R&D priorities
- Present trend analyses and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and boards
- Partner with product teams to embed future-ready capabilities into development lifecycles
- Author thought leadership publications and industry trend reports
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems and competitive disruption vectors
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Proven expertise in forecasting tech disruption (AI, quantum, biotech, climate tech)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, MBA, or related field
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Track record of influencing C-level strategy and product roadmaps
- Experience with scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented strategic innovations
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and trend analysis platforms
