- Develop and implement 3-5 year strategic foresight frameworks identifying disruptive trends impacting global markets
- Lead scenario planning workshops for executive leadership, translating complex data into actionable strategies
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate future-oriented solutions across AI, biotech, and sustainability domains
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at industry conferences
- Establish KPIs to measure innovation pipeline success and ROI of futuristic initiatives
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with accountability for resource allocation and milestone delivery
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology foresight roles
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep technical literacy across emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, Web3)
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to communicate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFPC) from recognized institutions
- Published thought leadership in leading innovation or futurist journals
